HAggart's Tweed in aberfeldy since 1801
The story of Haggart’s began on the croft in Acharn, a small village nestled in the Highlands above Aberfeldy, Scotland in 1801. It is in this picturesque locale that Mr. Haggart, a farmer by trade, began making wool from his sheep, weaving it into the finest of tweeds. He grew the business beyond the fabrication of material, designing quality menswear for landed gentry, fine Scottish estates, and sport enthusiasts, eventually receiving a Royal Warrant for his mastery.
Over two hundred years later, the brand continues in the able-bodied hands of Ryan Hannigan, an artist, creator and curator, who has evolved Haggart’s into modern day. While still providing the finely tailored garments Haggart’s is known for, Mr. Hannigan is focused on delivering a fresh take on tweed, exemplified in his collection of outwear, iconic garments and accessories.
